.valentines day feast.

As promised, I'm gonna give you guys some tasty recipes! Get excited!

For Valentines Day, I was off work and Kyle was working later than normal so I decided to make something new and delicious. I had been eyeing this recipe for quite some time, so that's what I chose. (side note, that blog is filled with absolutely beautiful food/recipe. the food looks like art. wonderful!)

I did tweak it a quite a bit however (because I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on Almond Flour and I thought the pesto was too strong. :P)

Here's the recipes I used for my flat bread. :) It was quite tasty! It was also super easy and inexpensive. (Just the way I like it!)

And here is the pesto recipe. (My tweaked version that is).

Once you've made both of these ingredients than spread some of the pesto on the flat bread, sprinkle some cheese (we used mozzarella), and add the Prosciutto on top. Place them on a cookie sheet and into the oven (on 375 F) for about ten minutes (or until cheese is melted and bread is a golden brown). Take out and enjoy! :)

After we enjoyed our little pizza dishes, we had some dessert (of course). We had some Panna Cotta with Strawberry Coulis on top. Come to, Momma! This stuff was suuuuper easy and really delicious. I first heard of it from the blog My Suitcase Heart (another amazing blog, me thinks). So, here's the recipe for that!

And there you have it! Hope it wasn't too confusing! ;) The whole meal was pretty simple overall and well worth it. Let me know if you give one of these recipes a try!

p.s. the last picture up top is just for my enjoyment...it doesn't have anything to do with food. :)
p.s.s. Tomorrow I've got a scarf how-to!
