p.9 work-related.

This weeks Photo of the Week is supposed to be "work-related." Since I'm a nanny, I was pretty excited about this one.....
Meet Jake. This little man and I are pretty darn tight. I teach him words like "nomnomnom" when he eats and he teaches me where all the good hiding spots are in his house. He likes to give kisses with an exaggerated *MUAH*, he looooves his blanky, he likes to steal my nose, and he also loves to dance. I mean really. If he hears a cell phone ring, or a someone humming, or even a commercial with a song, you better believe he's dancing. Sometimes he taps his hand on his knee and sometimes he has his hands above his head swaying back and forth. It kills me every time. I've learned so much since I started nannying. I have a whole new respect for mommas. The responsibility of raising another human being, of realizing everything you say or do is going to affect this little person, can be over whelming. At the same time though, it's amazing and fun and totally worth it. I can't wait to have our own Little Man (or Little Lady) running around. :)

He is ADORABLE!  You are so right it can be over whelming at sometimes but so very worth every minute.

  2. Such cute pictures! If you haven't already thought of this (and you probably have!), you should make a book/album of pictures you've taken when you were nannying, I bet they'd be such a fun gift for the family, especially since they are really good pictures.

  5. That's a great idea, Alex! I usually text them these pictures (as they're from my phone), but an album would be fun!
