.summer reads.

I've been hitting the books pretty hard this summer. And by that, I mean I've had a lot of free time and I've been trying to dwindle my ever going list of books to read. Reading during the summer is one of my top favorite things to do (besides laying pool side, that is). So, I thought I'd share with you some of the books I've been reading/loving. (yes...they are a little on the teen fiction younger section of the library, but really they are pretty good and they're fast reads!)

1. Ender's Game. Brilliant and sad and intense. This book is so good. I've had people telling me for a while to read this book, but since it's Sci-fi, I kinda put it off. I'm glad I finally gave in!

2. The Forest of Hands and Teeth. This book is pretty good....and intense. I mean, it's got zombies in it. How can you go wrong?

3. Divergent and Insurgent. The first two books in the trilogy. They are very much part of the Dystopian trend taking over, but I don't even care. Insurgent has over 500 pages and I finished it in a day. Addicting!

4. The Circle Trilogy. I've read these books many, many times. Never gets old. Talking bats? Different worlds? Deadly virus? Come on! It has it all.

5. Sherlock Holmes: A Study in Scarlet. In the middle of this book, but I'm a Holmes addict so I don't see myself in the middle of it for long. Trying to finish all of them by the end of July!

Up next on the list....
The Great Gatsby
Enclave
The Help
Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn

Any books you guys are particularly enjoying?
