.simplicity.

Craspedias, more commonly known as Billy Buttons, are some of my very favorite of flowers. I love that they aren't bogged down with petals or leaves or other such trivial things. They were the flowers in mine and Kyle's wedding; and since they age beautifully, some of my bridesmaids (and myself) have kept them around our houses. I love seeing them here and there, always bringing back sweet memories.

Is there anything in your life that is like that? Small, but full of memories?

  1. I have a fake bouquet still that I kept from our second reception in my state :)

Also, I didn't know you lived in Utah until your comments a few days ago.

  5. I got mine from The Flower Factory in Maize. They were kinda expensive, but I'm sure you can buy them other places for cheaper!

Yeah, I lived there for about five years. It has been calling my name ever since I left! I miss that red dirt!

  8. Ohhh, you lived in southern Utah? I totally couldn't do without the green.
I am actually not sure what flowers are in my fake bouquet haha. My real bouquet had peonies, freesia, and persian buttercups :)

  9. Yeah, we lived in St. George for several years and then Diamon Valley for a year. It actually wasn't that bad because we lived just an hour or so away from green tree covered mountains...it was the best of both worlds. :)
