.meal plan.&.free download.

Yay for new things! Especially if those new things are free! (The link to the downloads are at the bottom of the post!)

One of my goals this year was to get more creative with our dinners. (Please tell me I'm not the only one who tends to get in a rut with dinner and make the same meals over and over and over!?) Well, to help with that, I started making meal plans two weeks out. I scour Pinterest (and my new cookbook!!) and get ideas for 10 meals (I don't plan meals for the weekend because Kyle and I are never really home on the weekends!). After that I make a grocery list for those two weeks and then I beg Kyle to go to the store for me go to the grocery store once ...for two weeks! Which is amazing because I hate loath the grocery store. Plus, we save more moolah when we go to the store less because we don't grab last minute snacks and such. So basically it's a win, win!

When I was browsing pinterest the other day, I saw different calendars for sale and thought it'd be perfect for making meal plans on (come on...cute paper always makes grocery lists and menus seem so much more...fun!) Rather than pay for it, I simply made my own.

So, feel free to grab a download and print away! (I made one for 7 days since I know most people plan for the weekend, but if you're lazy weird like me, feel free to use the 5 day one!)

  2. Very cool! I'm a big fan of meal planning - when the kids were really little, I did OAMC - once a month cooking - where I'd spend the better part of two days, including grocery ICK store YUCK shopping, did I mention I loathe it too? - chopping and cooking and freezing, and then be done for a month for the main meals. I still do it for a week to two weeks at a time - and I *love* cute planners :)

    1. Oh my word! I don't think I could handle cooking for a month at a time! My mother-in-law used to do that for her family too. I can barely get myself to cook for one night. haha! I bet it is nice not to have to worry about it for weeks though...especially with little ones!

I'm glad you like this planner! Enjoy! :)
