.friday finds.

It's going to be EIGHTY degrees today. That's right...EIGHTIES. It's absolutely glorious!! I'm planning on soaking up as much as a person possibly can. (Trying to get a little color on these old pale legs of mine!)

Let's talk about these Etsy treasures first though....I am on the lookout for a good picnic basket for this summer. Or, even better! THIS picnic bag. I warned told Kyle that we are going on lots of picnics this year. Adventuring to lots of new places. So, since I'm a little obsessed with the idea of eating outdoors, I went hunting on Etsy for all things picnic inspired. :)

I really, really want that produce bag as well. How perfect is it for filling at a Farmer's Market? I have been trying to drink smoothies once a day (it's my version of participating in this juicing craze. :) ) and eating salads at dinner. That is leading to going through fruits and veggies really fast, and needing to make trips to buy produce quite often. I don't really mind, but I'd mind a lot less if I had that cute bag to bring along. :)

Last night, Kyle and I went and played tennis. I haven't picked up a racket since last year, and, let me tell you, it isn't anything like riding a bike. I scored more points for the other team that for my own, but it was fun nonetheless. By the end of the night I was kind of getting back into the swing of things. (pun fully intended.) Either way, I I fully enjoyed getting out and filling my lungs with fresh air. It makes me almost giddy.

So this weekend is St. Patrick's Day. Which means, our annual dinner at my sister's house. I'm looking forward to it quite a bit. :) Can anyone ask for more than good company, great food, and beautiful weather? No sir. Do any of you guys have St. Patty's Day traditions? Do you go all out and dress head to toe in green? I used to when I was younger...it may or may not have included a bright green wig. (eek!)

Whatever you find yourself doing this beautiful Spring weekend, I hope it's marvelous and full of sunshine!

  1. I love this spring-y roundup! Wow 80 degrees is a big deal! In Florida, I feel like it should be that too, but this morning I saw my breath.

  3. I am so jealous of your 80 degree weather! It has been so cold here in Washington. One day of a little warmth sounds glorious to me. Love all your finds.

    1. Sadly, it was only one day of nice weather. Then it dropped back down rainy and cold. :(
