.nyc day two.

After grabbing some flipping amazing waffles (like dream about for days kind of amazing) from Wafels and Dinges, we walked across the massive Brooklyn Bridge. It was awesome. We then spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around Brooklyn. I'm not gonna lie, I loved Brooklyn. It was filled with hip little coffee shops and antique stores and weird dressed people carrying banjos and reeeally awesome walls. (Not to mention Grimaldi's Pizza which was fantastic.)
Also, I don't think I've ever seen so many bicycles in my life.
Also, Mast Brother's is just as awesome as I anticipated.
Also, it was freeeezing.
Also, rain.
Also, the main subway to/from Brooklyn/Manhattan shut down for the day while we were there so it was a fun little adventure getting back home. We're talking cramming into a shuttle bus  so packed full of people, I had to hug Kyle to try and make space; to running from one platform to make the train and realizing it was the wrong one; to making it to the right one and having to sweet talked the guard into not making us pay to get on; to getting on the wrong connecting train heading in the opposite direction; to finally making it home.
It was quite the day. :)

p.s. if you missed day one, you can see/read all about those adventures here. :)
