change

October

Ellis Parker Butler

The forest holds high carnival to-day,
And every hill-side glows with gold and fire;
Ivy and sumac dress in colors gay,
And oak and maple mask in bright attire.

The hoarded wealth of sober autumn days
In lavish mood for motley garb is spent,
And nature for the while at folly plays,
Knowing the morrow brings a snowy Lent.

  1. LOVEEE this new layout. Exactly what I wanted, just something clean and white. What template do you use? I'm pretty sure I'm just going to go in and delete everything I have and start over haha.

    1. Thanks!!! I am super excited about the way it turned out...took me foreeeever to get everything designed the way I wanted. haha and I'm still finding things to tweak here and there. (C'est la vie!)

      I'm not sure which template I use..I think it's just the "simple" one in blogger! I basically delete all the extra stuff on there and insert my own images and stuff. Try to simplify it to ease my ocd mind. ;)

  2. Such a beautiful post. I haven't made my fall to do list just yet, but it's definitely on the horizon. :) Fabulous post, love. If you get a second, I'd love to hear your thoughts on my latest outfit. :)

  3. Your site is so pretty! And Autumn is the best month. My to-do list is to have pumpkin EVERYTHING, to go camping, do a photo session with my sister, go to a haunted house, and maybe buy or make a couple more scarves.

  4. Oh my gosh, don't even get me started on what I love about fall. Having been away from New England for several years, I'm soaking it ALL in right now. Perfect cool weather, pretty foliage, pumpkins. All of it!
