LISTENING:
I know I'm just like every other person in the world right now, but I cannot get enough of this song! It's addicting. Anyone else feel that way? Anyone? Bueller?

LOVING:
I've been doing a lot of research on calligraphy the past couple days. I'm just dipping my toes into the water right now...reading up on good beginner nibs, how to hold the pen, how to clean the nibs, etc. There's a wealth of information out there, it's kind of overwhelming. Tristan's blog has been invaluable to me in my research!

PINNING:
Is it too early to start thinking of New Years celebration ideas? Because these ( & not to mention these!) are a must. Also, really loving this look, but I'm not sure I can pull it off.

TASTING:
Since I haven't been working these past few weeks, I've been trying to cook more. I salute you women who work every day and still have dinner on the table every evening! So, on my quest to become the perfect housewife and have new exciting dinners each night (yeah right), I stumbled upon this soup recipe and decided to give it a try. (Little fact about me, I find soups to be very intimidating...) But this one turned out delicious! Kyle has even dubbed it his new favorite soup. (Go me!)

ENJOYING:
If you're on instagram, you should need to check out these three instagram feeds. Holy Farmer and Jeff K Marsh and Gregory Woodman. These guys are brilliant. Seriously. Beauty for your eyes and your soul. (is that too cheesy to say?)

COVETING:
Been working on my Christmas Wish List (wait...whats that?...i'm too old?...i can't hear you...you're breaking up...) and I can't seem to narrow it down. I mean, how could one possibly not include this and this....and these!

READING:
Since our recent Harry Potter moviethon, I've gotten an itch to re-read the books. I'm starting with Goblet of Fire because that's just the way I roll. Always on the lookout for new books to try...if you have any must reads!

ATTEMPTING:
I'm not one to get fancy with my nails...in fact, painting them is quite the endeavor for me, but I really like this look. It seems simple enough too...right??

CELEBRATING:
Guess who has a job! God is good! I means, He really is. He continually blesses me beyond measure. I'm so thankful that I found a job this quickly...Kyle and I were preparing for me to be on the hunt for months. Instead, I'll be starting my new nanny job on Monday! Eek! I'm so excited! Thank you guys so much for the support and encouragement, you have no idea how much it helped!

    Congrats on your job!
You mentioned book recommendations, and one of the best ones I read this year was Thirteen Reasons Why. It's heartbreaking, but brilliant. I also read Decision Points by George W. Bush, but that's not for everybody. :-) Right now I'm in the middle of The Monuments Men by Robert M. Edsel. Captivating, true story.
Now... when are we all going to get together?!

    1. +I COMPLETELY understand! I hate/love when an artist I love is "discovered." I usually just refuse to turn on my radio when that happens!
+Thanks! I still have a loooong way to go, but I'm loving practicing! You should give it a go! It's pretty inexpensive to get started! I would recommend the Nikko G nib and an Oblique pen holder. :) I get my supplies from paperinkart.com!
+I do have a goodreads account, but I'm never on there. I always forget about it!
      +Steal away! :)

On another note, let me know how that nail art goes because it looks so pretty, but I find nail art super intimidating!

  9. Never too old for a good Christmas list haha. I've been doing mine too, so I'm totally with you. Calligraphy is an awesome hobby to get into!! You should definitely keep us updated on it...I would love to see something you create :] And you could totally pull of that ring/bracelet...that's actually one of the things on my Christmas list, I really want to start wearing them too. I want to re read HP too, it's just so good and I want to keep my memory refreshed on the facts so I can always include myself in the die-hard fanclub haha. Also congrats on a new job!! That's really exciting!

  10. Congrats on the new job! Moving into a new position is always a transition, but a very exciting one! I'm looking forward to reading about all of your new adventures. Also: all of those items on your Christmas list are perfect. That picnic basket is a must, and that mug? Brilliant.

I've been stuck on St. Lucia's new album, When the Night. It has a great mix of sounds, but really flows as a whole - definitely a great fall/winter album.

I've been on the hunt for the *perfect* picnic basket for some time now, and that one is basically it! I die a little every time I see it!! ;)

Wonderful! I'll be giving them a listen ASAP! Always on the hunt for new tunes to obsess over. :)
