resolution.

every year i tell myself i'm not going to make a list of resolutions.
i tell myself that i don't need one day of the year to examine and challenge myself to be a better person.
i tell myself that i should be doing this every single day.
not just on new years eve.

and yet, every december thirty first i find myself jotting down a list.
i can't help it.
i mean really...who can say no to a new year filled with possibility?
a clean slate. an un-trodden road. a chance to start over.
not i.

so here it is. my resolutions. my list of ways to better myself.

do you have your own list?
maybe you decided to be smart and keep it simple by just making one goal for this year.
do tell!

JULIA!! THESE ARE INCREDIBLE! I mean the set up and the resolutions themselves!
gah - I love your style.
also the very first resolution "spend less time worrying and more time praying" yes, yes, AND YES.

  2. I seriously LOVE this resolution list!! I think if I made mine this cute I would actually look at it throughout the year haha. But I can never resist making one either, there really is something about that big future ahead and the clean slate it presents that makes it easier to try to better oneself. I think I'll try to make a really nice looking one like this and see what that does for me this year :]

  4. I love this list! I found myself writing down a few things that I want to improve on this year as well. I am definitely with you on spending less time worrying and more time praying. I want to learn to let go of things this year and to give all of my worries to God. I hope that you are able to fulfill some of your resolutions and that you have a fabulous 2014!

  5. Great resolutions! Awesome graphic, too! Reading more is one of my resolutions as well. I always tell myself I don't have time to read, but then I spent hours upon hours watching tv and getting on the computer.

  6. This is amazing, I love it. I've seen a lot of resolutions about unplugging and being more present (one of mine too). Lets hope it's a trend that sticks. :)
