life lately

•yesterday my sister and i took my little niece to lowes with us. you guys....people have no boundaries when it comes to children. everyone wants to touch the baby. it always happened so fast, i didn't have to be stop them. next time, i'm gonna go all emperor's new groove on them.

•if you've been looking to bust out your camera and get a little better at it, my sister has started a *free* photography 101 course on her blog.

•i'm attempting to make this "frame" tomorrow for a giant, giant print i got. eeeee!

•my friend made a cake that looked like a giant donut, and it was awesome.

•needing some new tunes to listen to. anyone got any good suggestions?? i'm gettin' desperate!

•last weekend we went to dallas for the get smart conference and it was SO good. eleven hours of speakers and learning and awesomeness. my brain is just now recovering.

•i'm thinking about doing a video (w/ kyle) about budgeting and what we've learned from it. yay? nay?

•been trying to incorporate running and pilates into my daily routine. so far it's more like every other day routine. haha right now, i've been doing these videos. my muscles feel like they're doing to die, so i must be doing something right...right???

•reeeeally wanting to dye my hair this color.

okay, i'm off to maybe probably most definitely make these cookies.

have a lovely rest of your week!

  2. Sleeping at Last is all I've been playing, although he's not very new. But it does put out albums every couple of months and they are all amazing and inspiring.

  9. I get so annoyed when people manhandle children. Not OK! That frame looks super cool, I might have to give it a go myself (I'll probably wait to see how it goes for you first though!)
Music-wise, basically everyone on Newport Folk's line-up this year are worth listening to.

    1. Yes! It's terrible! It's like because they are tiny humans people think they don't have personal bubbles.

I started making our coffee table this week so the frame got pushed to next week, but I will definitely share it with you guys when it gets done!! :)

Thanks for the tip! I'll be listening to those bands asap!
